Streamline Your Packaging Process with Our Handling Feeding Systems: PAF, SAF, and RAF - Efficiently Group, Assemble, and Feed Your Products for Optimal Flow Wrapping
FOUR-AXIS HORIZONTAL FEEDING UNIT
The Four-Axis Horizontal Feeding Unit is powered by 4 servomotors and is the top-of-the-range machine. It gives the maximum of flexibility in arranging the product piles in the configurations required, as well as allowing the pile height to be adjusted during machine operation. Machine operation is in two main stages, with the product groups first being assembled in an intermediate station, before being transferred into the in-feed of the flowrapping machine. The two-stage sequence gives gentle product handling and avoids any risk of damage to the product.
TWO AXIS HORIZONTAL FEEDING UNIT
The Two-Axis Horizontal Feeding Unit is powered by 2 servomotors and also allows the product pile height to be adjusted during machine operation.
The loading and feeding operation is carried out in a single movement, with the piles being transferred directly from the incoming lanes and placed into the in-feed of the flowrapping machine.
PAF
Pile Automatic Feeder
The SynchroFeed Horizontal Loading and Feeding Units are installed at the out-feed end of production lines. Their function is to group product which is lying flat into piles and to transfer the piles into the in-feed flights of flowrapping machines. The products to be handled are typically biscuits, crackers, sandwich biscuits, toast slices or cracker breads.
The systems allow the product pile height to be selected, from a single layer up to the maximum stable height and to transfer the piles into the in-feeds of flowrapping machines. This height-adjustment feature is used to compensate for changes in product thickness and can be activated without interrupting production.
The Horizontal Loading and Feeding Unit is of modular design and is supplied in various configurations, depending on the product to be handled and the output speed of the line.
A stack length adjustment feature is used to compensate for changes in product thickness and can be activated without interrupting production. The Vertical Loading and Feeding Unit is of modular design and is supplied in various configurations, from a minimum of 2 or 3 channels, up to 16 channels, depending on the number of lanes or incoming product and the output speed required. The Vertical Feeding Unit, in conjunction with the SynchroFeed 90° Transfer Module, can be used to feed either overwrapping machines.
The Vertical Feeding Unit can also place the products into cardboard or plastic trays.
SAF
Slug Automatic Feeder
The SynchroFeed Vertical Loading and Feeding Units are installed at the out-feed end of production lines. Their function is to assemble products on edge, into slugs, and to transfer them into the flighted conveyor by means of the SynchroFeed 90° Transfer Unit. The products to be handled are typically biscuits, crackers, sandwich biscuits, toast slices or cracker breads.
The Feeding Unit is equipped with a number of product hoppers, designed for the product shape and output speed. Each hopper has a release flap and the pack count is given by detecting photocells. Conveyors, which are fitted with stainless steel carriers, pass in front of the photocells and count the correct number of products into each product hopper
RAF
Roll Automatic Feeder
The SynchroFeed Automatic Feeder for bread sticks receives the product from the production line and feeds it automatically into the flowrapping machine, in the pack size and bread stick count required.
The system begins by unloading the bread sticks from the baking trays and feeding them onto a system of conveyors which transfers them to the Feeding Unit.
