Announcing our new company President: Robb Leonhard

Robb's appointment comes after his brother, Viking Masek's co-founder and former President, Rick Leonhard, passed away in July of 2021. Robb is the logical choice as successor, having been a co-founder and Executive Vice President since 2001. He has seen the company grow from a small startup to a multi-million dollar, worldwide mover and shaker in the packaging industry.
“Looking back to when we started this journey 19 years ago, we were in a much different position and facing different issues, but the spirit was the same. We were a small, driven team on a mission to bring simple, automated, tote to pallet packaging solutions to customers around the world,” reflects Leonhard. “Today, automation has become so crucial, and our mission remains the same. Only now we have expanded to an 84+ member dedicated team in our US facility and several hundred worldwide.”

Robb brings nearly 20 years of experience in the packaging industry to this role. As a former educator, he also brings a passion for teaching and empowering others to reach their potential. As a leader, Robb is excited to share his vast knowledge with our growing team and continue to seek out cutting-edge packaging technologies to help our clients simplify and do business better.

Robb assumes this new role during a time of unprecedented growth at Viking Masek. Our third facility expansion is nearly complete; we have almost doubled our workforce over the past 2 years, we were awarded a 2021 Top Workplaces honor, and our new partnership with a top industrial robotics firm continues to change the game for our clients.
