9 Series (XR9, XB9, XDB9, XL9)
The Top-Reel Flow Wrapper You Upgrade Instead of Replace
Overview
The X-Series 9 Series is a modular horizontal flow wrapper with the film reel mounted on top, the setup most solid products run on: bakery, bars, confectionery, hardware, and wipes. Pick a Rotary, Box Motion, Double Box Motion, or Long Dwell seal style, then add speed, splicing, and automation on the same frame as volume grows. The rotary sealing head comes out with six bolts and a belt, so a new product or a faster contract takes about an hour of downtime instead of weeks.
Key Features
- Top film reel for bakery, bars, confectionery, and other solid products
- Sealing head swap in about an hour: six bolts and a belt
- Starts hand-fed at about 60 packs a minute and adds speed by module
- Electromagnetic film brake in place of a wear-prone friction clutch
- Larger sealing heads standard for a more even heat seal
- Runs poly, foil, paper, and recyclable film
Buy a Machine, Not a Speed Tier
Most flow wrappers are sold at a fixed speed, and more volume means buying the next machine up. Every X-Series starts on one base (frame, servo drives, electromagnetic film brake, and oversized sealing heads) and grows by module. A multi-jaw rotary head and automatic film splicer mount vertically or bolt on, so most upgrades add no floor space. Only infeed and outfeed extensions add length. Synchropack builds the machine. Viking Masek programs, integrates, and supports it from Oostburg, Wisconsin.
