Description

The role of the Senior Project Manager is to plan, execute and close projects per the customer expectations, deadlines, and within budget. Provides direction to the PM team including planning resources and coordinating the efforts of engineers, production, service, purchasing, accounting, and any other pertinent resources to deliver projects. The Senior Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. The Senior Project Manager shall provide continuous customer updates and effective communication via phone, onsite meetings, and email.  They will meet with other departments and work with customer-focused teams. Orients, trains, coaches, disciplines, and communicates Project Management strategies and company objectives. Implement PM staffing strategies and develop collaborative relationships across the company. Responsible for communicating and defining the team’s objectives, as well as eliminating any productivity barriers.

7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (can be flexible)

 

Travel

Occasionally, as required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or another business-related field
  • 5 years of related experience in a Project Management role, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years supervisory experience coaching and growing teams
  • Knowledge and expertise in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools.
  • Passion for leading teams and implementing change.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Strong negotiation and team-building skills with the ability to create consensus around decisions and mitigate conflicts among different teams.
  • High communication skills required at all levels. Must be able to interact with senior leadership.
  • Excellent command of verbal and written communication

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develops and oversees project management and schedule goals, procurement and contractual requirements, personnel assignments
  • Evaluates and improves systems and processes to effectively meet project requirements and profitability goals
  • Manages machine schedule
  • Manages machine budget
  • Manages machine scope and order summary
  • Manages customer expectation’s
  • Works with internal or external Sales
  • Directs Purchasing on all Project baggers & Ancillary Equipment
  • Maintains system for accuracy
  • Communicates with partners/vendors
  • Updates production schedule
  • Orders and maintains trade show equipment
