Team Viking Masek Ready to Roll

Funds raised through the Hit the Road Run/Walk event support the American Cancer Society's fight to end cancer. Specifically, these dollars are used to make a difference in the following ways:

  • Helping people take steps to reduce their risk of cancer or find it early when it is most treatable
  • Investing in research to find, prevent, treat, and cure the disease
  • Providing free information and services to help people facing cancer today - when and where they need it - including transportation, lodging, wigs, support programs, and more

Cancer is a fierce opponent, but team Viking Masek is committed to helping the American Cancer Society raise awareness about what everyone can do, together, to help end this disease. Team Captain Danielle Ohl commented that "so many of us have been touched by cancer in our lives, and it was great to see our team grow to 21 members in support of this cause. We look forward to an even bigger team next year!"
