At the end of June, the American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) began accepting applications from pet food plants as they can now take part in the 2016 Feed Facility of the Year Awards. This exciting awards program allows your facility to test its operations, standards, quality, and efficiency against other pet food manufacturers, integrators, liquid feed facilities and other corporations to see how your plant stacks up against the competitors.

Gain Valuable Benchmarking Information During the Awards Program

AFIA will be working with Feedstuffs to launch the Feed Facility of the Year awards. According to press releases, this awards program will allow you to gain anonymous benchmarking information regarding facilities in your industry segment. By having access to this information, you can compare your facility and see how it stacks up to industry standards. Five awards categories will be considered in the areas of Pet Food Facility, Commercial Dry Livestock Feed Facility, Liquid Feed Facility, Integrator Feed Facility, and Premix Manufacturing Facility.
